Relax and unwind as award-winning pianist Matthew Shiel plays contemporary piano classics by Ludovico Einaudi in our candlelight chapel.
"Matthew Shiel shone" (ThisWeek Culture)
Sink into your seat and relax as award-winning pianist Matthew Shiel performs the official top 10 most streamed piano pieces by award-winning film composer Ludovico Einaudi including favourites such as Nuvole BIanche, I Giorni, Divenire, Le Onde, Primavera, Nightbook, Una Mattina and more - performed by atmospheric candlelight in our special candlelit chapel setting.
Einaudi has composed the scores for a number of films and television productions, including This Is England, The Intouchables, I'm Still Here, the TV miniseries Doctor Zhivago, and Acquario, for which he won the Grolla d'oro. His music was used as the score for the Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning films Nomadland and The Father.
Tonight, this magnificent and historic 19th century chapel is transformed by candlelight into a place of inspiration as we celebrate Ludovico Einaudi, a significant figure in our contemporary culture landscape and pay tribute to a true musical icon!
