Set into the hillside of the stunning Pentland Hills Regional Park, Midlothian Snowsports Centre offers all the fun and adrenaline you'd expect from Britain's biggest artificial slope! Ski and snowboard lessons can be arranged or simply enjoy a practice session.
An outdoor facility, all runs are made of matting that is suitable for use all year round, and floodlighting allows the slopes to be used in the evenings. A misting system ensures the slopes remain lubricated to increase speed and to create a more realistic surface.
Drinks and snacks are available at our Cafe 360 and we can also offer conference and meeting room facilities.
We now have 4 specially built new tubing runs, to provide exhilarating and fun snow tubing sessions for both children and adults. Our new travelator takes all the hard work out of climbing up the hill. Just ride up... and slide down!
Snow tubing parties are also available, after a fun filled hour's tubing, a party meal is provided in our function room below Cafe 360, guests will even receive a free party bag.
Home to Scotland's outstanding national collection of modern and contemporary art, the National Galleries of Scotland includes two buildings, Modern One and Modern Two.
