Glasgow Botanic Gardens

Situated in the West End of the city, Glasgow Botanic Gardens are home to a wide variety of plant life, including over 9,000 different species of plants from all over the world!

About Glasgow Botanic Gardens

The gardens are also home to several glasshouses, the most notable of which is the Kibble Palace, a Victorian glasshouse that was built in 1873. The Kibble Palace houses a collection of tropical plants, including orchids, palms, and ferns.

In addition to its plant collections, the gardens also offer a variety of educational and cultural events, including guided tours, lectures, and concerts. The gardens are a popular tourist destination and are also a popular spot for locals to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
